Dear journal

As me and Finny were leaving the party we went to we were heading towards the sun porch and Finny said "Let’s go jump in the river". When Finny and I got to the tree Finny asked me "Are you still afraid to jump out of tree?". When we both got into the water and swam for awhile Finny asked me if I would do him the pleasure of jumping out of the tree first. I said my pleasure. As i was climbing up the tree with Finny right behind me, he said "We'll jump together to cement our partnership, we’ll form a suicide society, and the membership requirement is one jump out of this tree". When me and Finny got up there I was a little further out then Finny and I turned around for a second to tell him something and before I knew it I was falling. Finny grabbed me and we both fell into the river and that’s how the Suicide Society of the Sumer Session was officially established. The next day me and Finny and a couple of our other friends played a game that Finny made up called Blitzball. After we got done playing the game just Finny and I went to go look at the swimming records and when Finny saw the first place winner he decided he wanted to beat it. So me and Finny went to the pool which was empty and i timed him and he beat the record of the first place winner, but Finny told me to keep it a secret because he doesn't swim. A couple days later me and Finny went to the beach together and this is when he told me I was his best friend. In my head I had a secret rivalry against him because he was not a loyal friend to me.
